چکیده
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is a main active ingredient in tea, but it difficult for to be absorbed and utilized by the body, resulting limited bioactivity. Therefore, we explored role of probiotics enhancing physiological activity EGCG mice model liver injury. Mice were methodically treated with either single or combination Lactiplantibacillus plantarum P101 (LP.P101) 21 days, then administrated intraperitoneal injection carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) on last day. As result, antioxidative genes activated pro-inflammatory suppressed, reducing oxidative inflammatory injury mice, which indicated better preventive effect LP.P101 than ingredient. Furthermore, 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing revealed gut microbiota played mitigation. The increased relative abundance Lactobacillus, Akkermansia other beneficial bacteria that negatively correlated inflammation positively antioxidation. In conclusion, was more effective alleviating damage caused CCl4. Altered may an important cause.

Nos2 deficiency enhances carbon tetrachloride-induced liver injury in aged mice
Objective(s): As a multifunctional molecule, NO has different effects on liver injury. The present work aimed to investigate the effects of Nos2 knockout (KO) on acute liver injury in aged mice treated with carbon tetrachloride (CCl4). Materials and Methods: The acute liver injury model was produced by CCl4 at 10 ml/kg body weight in 24-...
متن کاملPreventive effect of novel nanomissile of silymarin on liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride in rat
Background and Aim: Silymarin, obtained from Silybum marianum has hepatoprotective effects and antioxidant activity and has been used in the treatment of liver diseases. Because of its poor aqueous solubility and low bioavailability its use has been limited. The aim of this study was to prepare a new and inexpensive formulation of silymarin using simple dissolution methods and compare its hepat...
متن کاملEpigallocatechin-3-Gallate Ameliorates Alcohol-Induced Liver Injury in Rats
Endotoxemia is a common event in alcoholic liver disease. Elevated intestinal permeability is the major factor involved in the mechanism of alcoholic endotoxemia and the pathogenesis of alcoholic liver disease. This study examined the effect of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) on alcohol-induced gut leakiness, and explored the related mechanisms involved in its protection against alcohol-induc...
متن کاملAugmenter of liver regeneration protects against carbon tetrachloride-induced liver injury by promoting autophagy in mice
BACKGROUND Augmenter of liver regeneration (ALR) exerts strong hepatoprotective properties in various animal models of liver injury, but its protective mechanisms have not yet been explored. Autophagy is a recently recognized rudimentary cellular response to inflammation and injury. The aim of this study was to test the hypothesis that ALR may protect against acute liver injury through the auto...
متن کاملChlordecone potentiates hepatic fibrosis in chronic liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride in mice.
Chronic liver damage due to viral or chemical agents leads to a repair process resulting in hepatic fibrosis. Fibrosis may lead to cirrhosis, which may progress to liver cancer or a loss of liver function, with an associated risk of liver failure and death. Chlordecone is a chlorinated pesticide used in the 1990s. It is not itself hepatotoxic, but its metabolism in the liver triggers hepatomega...
